Dale McGowan

Dale McGowan is founding Executive Director of Foundation Beyond Belief, an organization that facilitates charitable giving and volunteering in the freethought community, and National Director of Ethical Education for the American Ethical Union. He is editor and author of books including Parenting Beyond Belief, Raising Freethinkers, Atheism for Dummies, and In Faith and In Doubt, the first book on religious/nonreligious mixed marriages. In 2008, Dale was named Harvard Humanist of the Year for his work in nonreligious parenting.

He lives with his wife and three kids near Atlanta.

Jamie Kilstein

Jamie Kilstein has been seen on The Conan O'Brien show, Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, MSNBC's Up with Chris, and on the National Mall in Washington, DC for the Reason Rally. He co-hosts Citizen Radio, which has been praised by Janeane Garofalo, Noam Chomsky, and Robin Williams. He and his co-host were named by The Nation Magazine as top "media heroes". Most importantly Glenn Beck has called him a "doofus" and "goofball" and Jonah Goldberg refuses to fight him. Rolling Stone has praised his latest CD, titled "What Alive People Do," which also climbed the iTunes and Amazon charts to #1 comedy CD.

Dan Savage

Dan Savage is an award-winning author, journalist, newspaper editor and political commentator. Dan is the author of "Savage Love," a widely syndicated sex advice column, and for two years he wrote the popular "Dear Dan" advice column for ABCNews.com. Dan also wrote The Kid: What Happened After My Boyfriend and I Decided To Go Get Pregnant, a memoir about becoming a father.

In 2010, reacting to the suicides of bullied LGBT youth, Savage started "It Gets Better," which encourages adults to submit videos assuring gay teens that life gets better.

He has been a contributor to Out magazine and HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher." As a political commentator on LGBT issues, Savage has appeared frequently on CNN and MSNBC.

In 2005, Savage married his long-term partner, Terry Miller. Together they have an adopted son. The couple lives in Seattle, where he often can be heard complaining about the weather and the city's lack of a subway.

Hemant Mehta is the editor of FriendlyAtheist.com and the author of I Sold My Soul on eBay and The Young Atheist's Survival Guide. He has appeared multiple times on Fox News and CNN and has served in leadership positions for several American atheist organizations. When he's not writing, Hemant is a National Board Certified high school math teacher in the suburbs of Chicago.

Annie Laurie Gaylor co-founded the Freedom From Religion Foundation with her mother in 1976, when she was a college student. Her complaint as a sophomore ended a more than century-long violation of religious invocations and benedictions at University of Wisconsin-Madison graduation ceremonies. She is the author of three books: Woe To The Women: The Bible Tells Me So, first published by FFRF in 1981 and is now in its 4th printing; Betrayal of Trust: Clergy Abuse of Children, the first book documenting widespread sexual abuse by clergy; and Women Without Superstition: 'No Gods, No Masters,' the first collection of the writings of historic and contemporary women freethinkers.

She has been co-president with her husband Dan Barker since late 2004. She has overseen or been plaintiff in many FFRF Establishment Clause lawsuits.

Jay is a Peabody and Emmy Award winning independent documentary writer, producer, director, and editor. He received the Peabody Award, the highest and most prestigious award in the nation for electronic media, in 2010 for his documentary "The Lord is Not On Trial Here Today".

Dan Barker, a former Christian minister, is co-President of the Freedom From Religion Foundation and co-host of Freethought Radio. He is the author of Godless: How An Evangelical Preacher Became One of America's Leading Atheists.

He has participated in over 110 debates throughout his lifetime.

His wife, Annie Laurie Gaylor, is also co-President of FFRF and will also be speaking at FTF3. Together they live in Madison, WI.

Matt Slick

Matt Slick is President and Founder of the Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry, a non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to analyzing religious and non-religious movements. He is the author of "Right Answer for Wrong Beliefs" and "The Influence". He currently hosts the Matt Slick Live, call-in radio show heard weekdays 3-4 pm, M-F in the Boise, ID and Salt Lake City, UT areas and over the Internet.

Matt resides in the Boise ID area with his wife and children. One of his favorite pastimes is debating atheists.
